Authentic Vintage SHOEI DS D-3A Open Face Helmet in Original Box – Adult Size

Product Specs:

Brand: SHOEI
Model: DS D-3A
Type: Open Face
Material: Fiberglass
Manufactured in the 1970’s
Made in Japan
Condition: New from Old Stock – Interior foam padding is disintegrating and will need to be replaced.

Possible Conditions:

May have light scuffs / light scratches on exterior
External discoloration / fading
Color may vary slightly
May have light stains on exterior (interior foam that has disintegrated sticks to the exterior causing staining)
May have light surface rust or corrosion on the visor snaps / D-rings
These helmets come wrapped in tissue paper inside the box, and the paper has stuck to some of the helmets. This is removable.

Note: Helmets are 40+ years old. They are new helmets (never pre-owned or used), but have been in storage since the 70’s. Most helmets are still sealed in their original boxes, however we will need to open the box before shipping to do a visual inspection of the helmet. Interior foam padding is dried out and disintegrating. If the foam padding is already beginning to crumble, we may remove it prior to shipping to prevent further breakdown. These helmets are not recommended or endorsed for use as trusted protective gear. These helmets are intended for restoration and / or show purposes.
